It’s been four straight solid-but-not-good rosters for the Seattle Mariners as they open another season after an impressive and very short rebuild.

Once again, the club will rely heavily on the starting rotation, one shutdown reliever, and an improved-from-last-spring lineup that still is unlikely to score enough runs to generate some margin for error.
