Projecting future rosters is more of a fun exercise than one with real-world value, but it can provide some insight into where the Seattle Mariners are at eash position, and from where future solutions may come — at least the way I’m doing it here.
Below is my 26-Man roster projection for 2027, assuming continued arbitration routes, but without making a single free agent signing, including re-upping with the club’s own free agents, or trade. Options are assumed based on info through NOW (performance, market value, injuries, depth).

NOTE: Unlike the 2025 and 2026 roster projections, this projection does not come with top free agents and possibe trade targets. It’s a stretch to look even two years out on those routes of player acquisition, but literally useless to do so beyond that, so I left it out.
